Virgin Voyages has promoted Shane Lewis-Riley to vice president of sales.
The line said the former associate vice president of international sales had been a “champion for the brand” and a “crucial leader” covering the UK and international markets.
Diana Block Garcia, senior vice president of revenue, sales and itinerary, said: “Over the past several years, Shane has demonstrated the ability to produce strategic partnerships and achieve tremendous growth for the company.
“With an unparalleled approach to sales, Shane has been a fundamental member of Virgin Voyages’ sales teams yielding the success of the brand.”
The line said Lewis-Riley (pictured) had “helmed the expansion of the company’s UK-based sales team and the development of emerging regions like Australia”.
John Diorio, associate vice president, North American sales, has also been promoted to vice president of sales for North America.
Virgin Voyages’ second ship Valiant Lady will launch in Portsmouth, UK, this March before repositioning to Barcelona in May for a series of seven-night voyages throughout the Mediterranean.
Resilient Lady, the line’s third vessel, launches in Athens, Greece, in August.
