Virgin Voyages has taken delivery of its second ship Valiant Lady (pictured) ahead of the float-out of third vessel Resilient Lady in Italy on Friday (July 2).
Both 2,770-passenger ships are currently at shipbuilding company Fincantieri’s yard in Genoa, Italy.
Fincantieri delivered Scarlet Lady, the line’s maiden vessel, last year. A fourth vessel is also being built by the Italian shipbuilding firm.
Valiant Lady will be based in the Mediterranean next year.
Resilient Lady will operate Greek Island sailings from Piraeus next summer and will be based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in winter 2022 through to summer 2023.
First ship, Scarlet Lady, had been due to debut in April 2020, but will now set sail in next month on its ‘Summer Soiree’ series of sailings from Portsmouth, before repositioning to its Miami base.
