Your Co-op Travel agent honeymoons on Celebrity Silhouette

Natasha Pickworth, an assistant manager at a Your Co-op Travel agency, enjoyed a honeymoon on board Celebrity Silhouette earlier this month as a guest of the cruise line.

Her agency in Allenton, Derby, received the invitation for two travel agents or a travel agent-plus-one as part of Celebrity Moments – the trade campaign run by Celebrity Cruises.

The cruise line said she has seen a challenging year amid the pandemic. She had also seen her wedding plans delayed, with her original Greek islands honeymoon cancelled at the last minute.

When her travel agency received the invitation from Celebrity Cruises for the cruise –  departing one day after her rescheduled wedding – her colleagues jumped at the chance to surprise her.

She and her new husband Marc were onboard Celebrity Silhouette’s first sailing out of the UK in 18 months, which departed on July 3.

The newly refurbished cruise liner visited Dover, Belfast and Liverpool, before returning to Southampton.

“We loved all of our time on-board but, as a big foodie, what stood out to me the most was the standard of the dining offering. Everywhere we ate, from the speciality restaurants to the main dining room, served excellent food,” she said.

“We felt like we were in really safe hands. There are lots of protections in place to keep the ship secure, so it was nice to get away from everything and feel reassured that we were in a healthy and safe environment, whilst enjoying a wonderful holiday at sea.

“We have some regulars at our branch who always book Celebrity Cruises – they’re very loyal. I’ve had an excellent experience with Celebrity and it will really help me recommend and sell them.”
