Classic Collection regional sales manager Emma Rodgers has been recruited by A-Rosa River Cruises.
She has been named as regional sales manager for the north for the river cruise line from January 2.
Rodgers will be tasked with continuing to grow both the brand and trade sales in the north of England, Scotland and Ireland, providing both on-the-road and virtual support to agents in her region.
She will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, developing marketing campaigns and providing product training.
Rodgers began her travel career as store manager for Kuoni before moving into account management for both KLM and Riviera Travel. She was retail and training manager for Personal Holiday Advisors in Leeds before moving to Classic Collection.
A-Rosa UK and Ireland managing director Lucia Rowe said: “We are really excited to welcome Emma into our small, but mighty team.
“Having worked both on the agent and operator side, she brings with her a real understanding of how to get the very best results from everyone involved in the sales process.
“She joins at an exciting time as our two new ships join the fleet in April and we can’t wait for her to get out and about to meet everyone.”
