Abta showcases benefits for members in 12 new videos

Abta has launched 12 videos to showcase its services to help members with their businesses and to introduce them to some of the association’s team of experts.

The videos are available in an online hub at abta.com/memberbenefits.

There is one three-minute summary video, called All About Abta, which gives an overview of the services on offer.

Speaking in the video, chief executive Mark Tanzer says Abta is a trusted friend of members, providing expertise, as well as understanding the challenges they face as a business.

The video also features Danny Waine, head of membership, as he interviews experts from the Abta team at the association’s office.

In addition, 11 20-second videos give members the chance to put a face to people from Abta and understand more about the work they do.

Teams included in the video are customer support, destinations, public affairs, legal services, brand and marketing, sustainability, media, member support, financial protection, business support and Abta’s charity, LifeLine.

For example, Lisa Kingman from financial protection explains her department’s role in helping members comply with package travel and linked travel arrangements regulations.

The videos will be shared on Abta’s member-facing social media channels, in Abta’s newsletters and at meetings and events with members.

Waine said: “We really want members to make the most of what Abta has to offer, and we’re always looking for ways to help get that message across.

“These videos not only provide a quick and informative snapshot of the services on offer to current members, but also give a good summary to those who are looking to join.

“The videos also offer the chance to meet some of the dedicated, professional Abta staff who are working on behalf of members and their customers, not just in times of crisis but also in the normal day-to-day business of our dynamic, exciting, and rewarding industry.”
