AE Expeditions joins trade training consortium Bright

AE Expeditions has joined travel trade training consortium Bright.

The expedition company is the tenth operator or cruise line to join the consortium, which offers roadshows for independent travel agents across the UK to help them learn about suppliers’ products.

AE Expeditions will attend six roadshows between September and November to provide training on its destinations and ships.

Andy Tait, senior business development manager UK & Ireland, said: “We are excited to be joining the Bright network, which has a fantastic reputation across the industry for creating such valuable agent training events.

“It cannot come at a better time for us with expedition travel being a key trend for consumers.

“We’re thrilled to be working closer with Bright’s leading operator members and cannot wait to meet all the participating agents in the coming months to discuss our expeditions to some of the world’s most remote and unspoiled destinations.”

Bright chairman Hisham Mahmoud said: “It’s wonderful to welcome AE Expeditions as a new reputable specialist brand to Bright.

“We know their team’s passion for working with the travel trade and we very much look forward to helping introduce more of our travel agent partners to AE Expeditions in the months and years to come.

“Expedition cruising is very much in demand at the moment and agents who introduce this new brand to their clients will find it extremely rewarding.”
