Aito confirms digital marketing firm as new member

Digital technology and marketing specialist Adido has become the first in its field to join Aito.

The firm met and exceeded a series of criteria, relating to the specialist travel association’s customer quality charter and promotion of sustainable tourism initiatives, to become a member.

The Bournemouth-based company with 20 staff works with travel clients including Simpson Travel, McCabe Travel, The Luxury Villa Collection, Gap360, Pelorus and Mersey Travel.

Adido won a digital marketing contract with fellow Aito member Peter Sommer Travels earlier this month.

The business can now use Aito’s Quality Charter credentials on its marketing material and online platforms, and join the organisation’s in-person and virtual events.

Aito executive director Martyn Sumners said: “We’re pleased to be welcoming Adido into the Aito membership. We are careful to review all new applications to Aito so that those that join really add value to our members.

“We believe that Adido’s vast experience in all areas of travel and technology will be a real asset going forward.”

The firm’s chief executive Andy Headington added: “This is a real milestone for us and we’re very proud to be accepted as an Aito member.

“Our travel insight and know-how means we now work with a number of businesses across the industry, and this recognition further underlines the progress we’ve made. We’re eagerly anticipating working alongside Aito and its other member organisations.”
