AmaWaterways to recognise agents who ‘go the extra mile’

A monthly agent appreciation awards scheme is being introduced by AmaWaterways.

The AMA Awards (AmaWaterways Monthly Appreciation Awards) is designed to show thanks to UK agent partners and reward those who go above and beyond in their dealings with clients, business partners and colleagues.

The luxury river cruise line company will recognise an individual travel agent who shares AmaWaterways’ core values of ‘passion, positivity, personal interaction, partnership and pioneer spirit’. 

The AMA Award will be personally delivered and presented by the agent’s business development manager.

Monthly winners will be invited to an AMA Awards VIP lunch at the end of the year. 

One agent who best embodies AmaWaterways’ values will be chosen to receive a seven-night European cruise for two people in recognition of their outstanding efforts.

Sales director Andrea Stafford said: “Central to our business is showing our appreciation and support for the wonderful work our travel partners do all year round. 

“However, when an individual goes the extra mile, we want to be able to shine a spotlight on them and express our gratitude for their passion and hard work. 

“We have so many fantastic agents offering their clients an exceptional level of service, so there will be a huge number of worthy candidates each month.”
