April will be G Adventures’ busiest month since pandemic began

G Adventures will operate more than 600 tours in April – the most departures in any month since the pandemic took hold in April 2020.

The departures list features several relaunched tours, including G Adventures’ Lando overland tours in Africa (pictured) and Classic and 18-to-Thirtysomethings itineraries in India – plus new United States of Adventure trips in the US.

The escorted touring operator has increased capacity in some of its most popular destinations, with nearly 200 departures in Peru and 40 in Costa Rica now available to book for April.

Furthermore, with Moroccan borders now open to British travellers, there are now 30 Morocco departures to cater for demand ahead of the summer.

Brian Young, EMEA managing director at G Adventures, said British travellers are looking to get away as soon as possible, with 40% of bookings made in January set to depart before the end of April.

“Whether it’s new tours in the US, or relaunched trips in Africa and India, it’s incredibly energising to see such diversity, and volume, of trips on offer,” he said.

“Our Lando tours are very close to G Adventures’ heart, so it will be fantastic to see the fleet of OAVs (overland adventure vehicles) back on the road delivering epic safai experiences to young travellers.

“Our teams are constantly tracking border restrictions and booking trends to ensure we’re meeting demand while delivering the best variety of adventures in the market.”
