The Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers will host regional events in Birmingham and York this winter to bring agents and operator members together.
The first ‘Atas presents’ gathering will be held in Birmingham on November 8, in Revolucion de Cuba Birmingham. The second will be in York on December 6, at Revolution York.
Both will start at 6.30pm and offer the chance to network with a dozen or more Atas tour operator members.
The association launched ‘Atas presents’ events last year, offering agents the chance of an entertaining and educational night out, along with refreshments.
This year’s regional events will take place after the annual Atas conference (October 10-11) at the Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.
Claire Brighton, Atas director, said: “Our first two ‘Atas presents’ events in Leeds and Southampton last year were very enjoyable for agents and suppliers.
“This year we’ll be visiting Birmingham and York, offering a fun night out and the chance for travel agents to network and find out about holidays offered by Atas members.
“Coming so soon after our annual conference means the regional events will be an ideal opportunity to catch up and build on contacts made in Liverpool – and catch up on other developments in the sector.
“Ultimately, the aim is to boost touring and adventure sales for agents and our suppliers.”
