The Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas) has unveiled a campaign called Around the World in 80 Deals.
Inspired by the recent BBC TV series called Around the World in 80 Days, the initiative aims to inspire agents and their customers during the current key booking period.
It features 80 deals which will showcase the wide range of holidays available from Atas members in destinations around the globe.
The campaign will launch on Monday (January 24) and run until the end of February, to capitalise on consumer interest in booking holidays during the peaks selling season.
Holidays on offer will feature destinations as varied as the UK and Ireland, the US, Australia and more – and several deals are exclusively available to Atas agents.
Agents can promote the offers to customers via social media and other channels thanks to a range of marketing assets provided by Atas and the supplier members.
Alongside the deals, there will be marketing messages that highlight the varied benefits of touring and adventure holidays.
Claire Brighton, account director for Atas, said: “It was very entertaining to watch the adventures of David Tennant, who starred as globe-trotting Victoria adventurer Phileas Fogg in Around the World in 80 Days.
“We joined him on his travels from the comfort of our sofas but thanks to great offers from Atas members, holidaymakers will be able to head out on their own adventures this year.
“Whether they want an exotic long-haul itinerary or a short break closer to home, Atas members have plenty to offer agents to inspire their customers.
“I’m delighted that several deals are exclusive to our agent members – yet another reason for travel agencies to sign up and join us.”
