Canadian Affair unveils US sister brand

Canadian Affair has launched a tour operation selling holidays to destinations across the US, principally through the travel trade.

American Affair will start sales on March 29, offering holidays across the US, including self-drive and coach tours, city breaks, cruises, rail tours, motorhome rental, ski and multi-centre holidays.

The company will offer a price-match guarantee against all other tour operators on its tailor-made packages, and deposits will start from £250 per person.

Throughout April, American Affair will be running a launch incentive for the travel trade of £20 in Love to Shop vouchers for every booking made.

Chris Hedley, managing director of American Affair, said: “The decision to launch American Affair is a natural extension of our proven North American travel offering.

“Despite the current restrictions due to Covid, there is rapidly growing demand in the UK marketplace for high quality holidays to the USA and American Affair has been launched to meet that need.

“This launch follows the strong foundations laid by Canadian Affair, in particular its success in recent years in forging excellent relationships with the UK travel trade. Our trade partners can expect the same high levels of service and quality from American Affair.”

American Affair has agreed partnerships with several US destination partners, travel suppliers and receptive operators, and will be offering flights from airports across the UK.

A four-night New York city break costs from £979, departing October 3, including accommodation, an attraction pass and flights.
A 14-night Yukon and Alaska self-drive tour costs from £3,194, departing September 5, 2021.
