Celestyal adds Croatia, Montenegro and Italy to 2024 schedule

Celestyal has added Croatia, Montenegro and Italy to its 2024 programme while extending its suspension of calls to Israel until mid-March.

The line initially altered its seven-night Three Continents itinerary until the end of November, but has confirmed three March sailings will also be suspended.

Instead, Celesytal Journey will depart on a new seven-night Heavenly Adriatic sailing on March 2, 2024, calling at six new ports in three new countries.

The 1,260-passenger ship, which returned to service for Celestyal in September following a €20 million refurbishment and technical maintenance overhaul, will call at destinations in Croatia, Montenegro and Italy on its first 2024 departure, with maiden calls to Kefalonia, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu, Bari and Katakolo.

Celestyal Journey will then depart on two seven-night Idyllic Aegean sailing on March 9 and March 16, 2024, sailing round-trip from Athens and calling at at Thessaloniki, Kusadasi, Heraklion, Mykonos, Santorini and Milos.

The ship will then embark on a series of Aegean voyages up to December.

Celestyal is switching passengers pre-booked on the Three Continents sailings to the new voyages and giving them a free Three Continents cruise “to thank them for their loyalty,” the line said.

Celestyal said it will contact trade partners currently holding reservations on the updated March 2024 itineraries in the coming days.

Chief commercial officer Lee Haslett said: “We really do take the time to listen to feedback, and Italy, Croatia and Montenegro are consistently popular with the trade and our guests.

“These itineraries are ideal for anyone looking to discover new horizons with more than a dash of history, culture and beauty.

“We couldn’t help ourselves by going a little bit further for our customers so hope they enjoy their free cruise as a thank you for their unwavering support.

“We are equally committed to our travel partners so will be preserving agent commission on all rebooked cruises.”
