A tour operator specialising in Christian pilgrimages has ceased trading.
Pax Travel was established more than 30 years ago, and offered groups pilgrimage tours to Rome, Santiago de Compostela, Malta and Mexico. It also put together tailor-made tours.
The company held an Atol licence up until September 30, 2021, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said.
Bookings and payments made, or refund credit notes (RCNs) issued after October 31, 2021, are not Atol-protected, the CAA confirmed.
The CAA added that it is currently collating information from the company and provide an update as soon as possible.
It reminded those making a claim under the Atol scheme not to use claim forms from other company failures.
