Classic Collection’s trade-only brand Classic Package Holidays will hold its first conference in March 2024.
The brands have previously shared a conference but director of agency sales & marketing Si Morris-Green said the split would give both brands the “focus they deserve”.
“There is a little bit of agent crossover between the brands but mainly it is different agents, so by having separate conferences it makes the content more relevant to those attending,” he told Travel Weekly.

“The products are different and have significantly different average booking prices, with Classic Collection’s at £7,000 and Classic Package Holidays at £2,200, so it makes sense to split them.”
A venue and dates have not been confirmed for the first Classic Package Holidays conference, but it will be held in Turkey, which the operator is expecting to have a “massive year” in 2024.
“Taking agents to Turkey in March feels like a smart move as the country is going to have a massive year next year so we want agents to see and feel the product to help them sell,” said chief executive Andy Freeth.
“We have a group deal with Sun Express which is absolutely motoring on Classic Package Holidays and the airline has added a huge amount of capacity that we want our agents to help us fill.
“It’ll be great to take everyone to Turkey on a Sun Express flight to experience one of out hotels and showcase both sides of the product.”
