C&M Travel Recruitment job placements jump by a third

C&M Travel Recruitment has reported the number of new candidates being placed in travel jobs jumped by 32% last month, compared to September.

Last month recorded the highest total volume of placements since April and the second highest number since July 2023.

The figure for October was also up by 28% from October 2023.

The recruitment specialist also saw a 37% year-on-year jump in the number of new travel jobs being made available.

October’s total was the third highest figure of the year, although it was down by 3% from September.

Furthermore, last month saw a slight year-on-year increase in the number of new candidates searching for travel jobs with a 2% rise from October 2023.

However, the figure was down by 2% from September 2024.

Barbara Kolosinska, managing director at C&M Travel Recruitment, said: “October was a very positive month for travel recruitment with placements rising by a third from September, and more importantly, also up by 28% from last year.

“In fact, new jobs and candidates also both rose from October 2023, so we saw all three metrics rise year-on-year for only the second time this year.

“This is great momentum that we hope to see replicated through the remainder of 2024.

“With more jobs being made available, this is a fantastic time for candidates to look at the options now available to them and potentially start 2025 with an exciting new role.”

All figures are drawn from the month’s new vacancies advertised with C&M Travel Recruitment.
