G Touring has appointed Steve Goodenough as its product and operations director.
Goodenough (pictured), currently managing director at Arena Travel, will start his new role at the end of August.
G Touring managing director Adam Kemp said the business was “very excited” about welcoming Goodenough, adding: “He joins an incredibly strong product and operations team, and his role will further enhance the experiential nature of our holidays.”

G Touring, operator of escorted holiday and touring brands Travelsphere and Just You, has also promoted e-commerce director Charlotte Field to marketing director after she delivered “fantastic results” following the pandemic.
Goodenough said he was looking forward to joining G Touring, pointing out that it had recently been named by Great Place to Work as one of the UK’s top 50 best workplaces in the medium category.
He added: “Having previously worked for the Travelsphere and Just You brands, it is great to be joining this award-winning business.
“I am really looking forward to working with the team as we build for the future and create some fantastic holidays with the aim to really change people’s lives through travel, the G Touring mission.”
Field, meanwhile, who joined G Touring in 2018, played a key role in redesigning the Just You and Travelsphere websites. She built the digital presence of both brands and developed an e-commerce platform.
Field described her promotion as “a real honour”, adding: “It is an exciting time in the world of guided touring holidays, and both Just You and Travelsphere have exceptionally loyal customers and we will continue to deliver award-winning holidays, supported by what is an exceptional marketing team.”
Kemp said: “Charlotte thoroughly deserves the promotion to marketing director. Along with her team she delivered fantastic results as we recovered from the pandemic, she put in place the strategy that led to significant growth in digital and our online sales are now at the highest ever level.
“With Charlotte leading our marketing team, I am confident that we are going to see campaigns that support our amazing holidays and our trade partners, who are so key to our success.”
G Touring was placed in 34th position in the medium-sized-business category in the Great Place to Work list, making it the highest-ranked travel business in the category.
