Gold Medal offers agent prizes in festive campaign

Gold Medal’s Countdown to Christmas campaign is returning for a second year following the success of 2020.

The initiative is part of the B2B operator’s peaks promotional activities, which started on December 1 with the Golden Guest List mega fam incentive.

The Countdown to Christmas campaign sees a member of the Gold Medal team post a question each morning on the operator’s Facebook page.

Agents can answer in the comments section and the winner will be announced at the end of the day.

The campaign runs for 12 working days between December 9-24 and prizes have been supplied by Gold Medal partners – MGM Resorts, Etihad Airways, Avis, AM Resorts, IKOS Resorts, Virgin Atlantic, NCL, Atlantis The Palm, Qatar Airways, Disney Cruise Lines, Sani Resorts and Emirates.

Prizes include tickets for the theatre with dinner for two; a Fortnum & Mason hamper; a Fitbit Versa 2; a £100 Amazon Gift Voucher; and a six-month flower subscription.

Dubai fam trip incentive in Gold Medal peaks campaign

On the final day, in partnership with Emirates, a place on Gold Medal’s Golden Guest List fam trip to Dubai will be up for grabs.

Kerry Gallagher, marketing director, said: “As well as being here to help agents with any enquiries or bookings in the run-up to Christmas, we also want to ensure they’re having a bit of fun.

“We’ve got some lovely prizes to give away, so they should look out for the daily question on our Facebook page and be ready to enter.”

The Golden Guest List promotion, in partnership with Emirates, offers 20 agent places on a mega fam to Dubai.

Gold Medal said the Golden Guest List has so far been one of its most successful incentives, with the launch post on Facebook being the most engaged-with this year and hundreds of applications received in the week since going live.
