Holidaysplease appoints Di Victory as social media executive

Holidaysplease has appointed Di Victory to its newly-created social media executive role in a bid to boost efficiency and sales.

Following positions at Jetset and Flight Centre, Victory joined the agency as a homeworker in 2019, and she will continue to serve her existing client base as she steps into her new role.

As social media executive, Victory has put an emphasis on efficiency and created online groups for agents where she sources supplier deals to save agents time.

The agency claimed the first offer Victory shared with the team was a deal with MSC Cruises and created £115,000 worth of sales within the first three days.

Victory said: “Each of the 100 homeworkers for Holidaysplease are invited to social media hub and WhatsApp groups that I have created where I post the most enticing supplier deals that I can source. This saves our agents so much time.

“Why have 100 agents all hunting for the deals when one can do the job and share their findings, allowing our selling agents time to do what they are passionate about, selling travel?

“There is also the bigger goal of increasing social media confidence and advising agents on how to generally improve their pages, understand algorithms and make the most of the business tools.”

Cat Reeves, brand and business growth executive, said: “This is part of an initiative by Holidaysplease to work smarter, be more proactive and allow agents to run as efficiently, effectively and confidently as possible in these busy times.

“Di’s experience of being a homeworker agent for us, combined with this new-found passion and expertise in social media, has provided this superb opportunity for our agents.”
