Holidaysplease offers Mauritius trip as sales incentive

Staff and homeworkers at Holidaysplease look set to jet off to Mauritius next June, thanks to a company-wide sales incentive.

The all-expenses-paid, all-inclusive luxury trip will take place as long as a group sales target is reached in the current financial year, which ends next April.

Cat Reeves, brand and business growth executive, said: “The target is very reachable and the team is full of determined people who can already feel the sand between their toes.”

The incentive was due to take place in 2020 after the team was on course to hit a sales target that had been set at the Holidaysplease conference in autumn 2018.

However, the plans had to be put on ice because of the Covid-19 crisis.

Now, the homeworking agency has returned to its pre-Covid financial position, so it has re-introduced the incentive.

All 100 homeworking agents and all 45 head office staff will join the six-night trip, which will be hosted at a Beachcomber luxury resort.

The trip will include visits to a selection of Beachcomber hotels, a gala dinner and optional excursions. Staff can access trade rates if they want to extend the trip and/or bring family members along.

Richard Dixon, director, said: “It is our way of saying thank you to everyone for their hard work over the years, especially the tough years of 2020 and 2021. Everyone one has played a vital role in both sales and our support departments.”

He added: “We want to express our thanks to Beachcomber Tours for their assistance arranging the trip.

“They have been a key partner of ours through most of our 20-year history and we are obviously incredibly grateful to them for the support they have given Holidaysplease over the years and their support in making the trip possible for us.”

Reeves said the agency is currently recruiting for more homeworkers, who could also qualify to join the trip.
