Insight Vacations has launched a women-only tour of Venice and the Croatian coast as part of its Wander Women series.

The escorted tour specialist will be promoting the new 2022 holiday on Monday (March 8) as part of its celebrations for International Women’s Day.

Environmentalist and film-maker Céline Cousteau will be a special guest on the Croatia leg of the tour – she is also a ‘Planet’ Ambassador with TreadRight, the not-for-profit organisation of Insight’s parent company, The Travel Corporation.

Experiences on the tour include visits to a fish farm in Slovenia and a community centre in Plitvice, Croatia.

“Our newest Wander Women Croatia journey will highlight our meaningful #MakeTravelMatter Experiences where like-minded female guests can personally connect with outstanding local women and spend time with our inspiring TreadRight ‘Planet’ Ambassador, Céline Cousteau.”

Departing in summer 2022, the 13-day Venice & The Croatian Coast escorted tour costs £3,545 per person sharing including accommodation in four and five-star hotels, eight Make Travel Matter experiences and door-to-door airport transfers in the UK. The price does not include flights.

The first women’s-only trip, Inspirational India, was launched last year and will depart in October 2021.
