Intrepid Travel is celebrating National Travel Agent Day today (September 6) with enhanced support and discounts for agents.
The UK and Ireland’s first National Travel Agent Day was launched by Intrepid during the pandemic in 2020 to celebrate the valuable role agents play in supporting the travel industry and holidaymakers.
Staff from the operator will be making surprise agency visits today as the operator launches its new agent hub, featuring video modules and news about campaigns and sales.
Intrepid has increased its agent discount to 60% off for agents and 40% off for companions.
It will feature four days of competitions from Friday until Monday on the Intrepid Loves Agents Facebook page.
There will also be a 15% industry agent exclusive offer in place for customers.
Joanna Reeve, Intrepid’s head of business development and partnerships, said National Travel Agent Day is all about connection, collaboration, and celebration.
“Travel agents are absolute superstars and integral to Intrepid’s success and the wider industry,” she said.
“We want to continue to give them the thanks and recognition they deserve and hope today is a special moment to celebrate their dedication and hard work.”
