James Villas is adding 600 villas to its Majorca programme – the largest expansion of its product portfolio in its 35-year history.
The villa specialist has already made almost 300 Majorca properties bookable online and plans to double that in the coming weeks.
It will mean the company, part of managed vacation rental company Awaze, has the broadest range of properties on the island of any UK holiday supplier.
The new villas offer more accommodation options in previously under-represented parts of the island such as Valledemossa, Arta, Capdepera and Felanitx. The move aims to broaden the number of rural locations offered to holidaymakers.
There are also more villas than ever before in Pollença, in the north of the island, one of the most popular areas for stays.
The expansion takes the company’s overall portfolio to 3,500-plus properties in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and the US.
Andreas Nau, managing director, James Villas, said: “The expansion in our Majorca product is a really exciting development – many of the additions are traditional fincas in areas that lie a little off the beaten path, with spacious footprints and large private gardens in a more rural setting.
“They’re a great option for those travelling post-Covid looking for privacy and space, as well as an opportunity to discover somewhere new.”
Prices for villas start from £175 for a seven-night stay for villa-only.
