Jet2holidays brand Jet2CityBreaks is bringing back a programme of Christmas market trips from this month from seven UK bases.
The winter 2021-22 programme, which includes flight-only options on sister airline Jet2.com, features 14 trips to six Christmas market destinations: Berlin (Brandenburg Airport); Budapest; Cologne; Copenhagen; Prague; and Vienna.
In addition, the company is offering scheduled flights and city breaks to Prague, Vienna and Krakow during the winter and in the run-up to Christmas, allowing flexible, tailormade trips to Christmas markets in these cities.
The seven UK bases, offering a different mix of the Christmas market destinations, are Belfast International; Birmingham; East Midlands; Glasgow; Leeds Bradford; and Newcastle.
New for this year, Belfast is offering a series of flights and breaks to Prague from December 3 to December 20 with five departures on Monday and Friday services in total.
Flights and breaks to Berlin are also new out of Birmingham, Newcastle and Leeds Bradford, with twice-weekly services out of all three airports.
New out of East Midlands airport are flights and city breaks to Copenhagen, with Monday and Friday services from December 6 to December 13.
Flight-only options with Jet2.com or packages with Jet2CityBreaks are offered with £60 deposits.
Steve Heapy, chief executive, said: “On the back of recent positive news about the reopening of international travel, and with many customers missing out last year, we are seeing strong demand from customers looking to visit some of the best of Europe’s Christmas market destinations this winter.”
