Travel agents were treated to a spa day to thank them for their hard work and to mark Jetset’s 55th anniversary.
The day at Champneys Forest Mere, hosted by Jetset in conjunction with JetBlue and Meet Boston, is one of a series of trade events being organised by the tour operator this year nationwide.
Jetset sales executive Chloe Smyth said: “This is to thank our agents for everything they have done for us. We hope they fully appreciate what we do for them and everything that comes with being 55 years old. We really believe the relationship is all about trust and adapting to agents’ needs.”
About 20 agents enjoyed the East Coast Indulgence day of spa treatments, lunch, afternoon tea and use of the pool and hot tubs.
Triangle Travel general manager Sarah Kenton said: “It is a real treat and things like this are not taken for granted but really appreciated.”
The operator has introduced a new security PIN system for agents calling its call centre to help fight fraud and recently added Eurostar to its Jets in-house booking system to make it easier for agents to book.
Smyth said Jetset has also been working to ensure its Jets system is “all device friendly” for agents to use on mobile phones and laptops.
Smyth said further new technology was set to be launched on July 4.
