JG Travel Group has added an extra date to see the final tour of ice-skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean after it became its top-selling UK event break sold through travel agents.
The group put packages on sale earlier this year when the pair announced their 50th anniversary tour, including tickets to the Birmingham and Manchester dates in spring 2025.
On the back of high demand, an extra date has been put on sale for May in Liverpool.
Claire Dutton, trade sales manager at JG Travel Group, said: “The response to Torvill & Dean’s final tour before they retire from skating has been absolutely amazing. We knew our customers would like this, but it has proved so popular that we’ve added an additional date and location. It really does demonstrate how much draw shows like this still have.
“Agents have really got behind these trips, securing bookings early for 2025 and it has now moved into the top spot as our best-selling UK event sold through the trade. The beauty of this product is that it appeals to a variety of age groups, all with a shared love for the iconic British ice-skating pair.”
The additional Torvill & Dean break on May 8, 2025, is available through Just Go! Holidays and National Holidays from £199pp, based on two sharing. This includes return coach travel from selected pick up points around England, one night’s accommodation with breakfast, a ticket to the show at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool with return coach transfers between the hotel and arena, plus an en-route visit to Liverpool.
