The JG Travel Group has launched a coach break offering customers the chance to celebrate the coronation in London, with the crowning of King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort.
Available through the Just Go! Holidays and National Holidays brands, this new break includes free time in the capital on Saturday May 6, allowing customers to mark the occasion as they choose.
It expected many will join the crowds for the procession at the Mall and Buckingham Palace, while others may head to Westminster Abbey to line the streets with fellow visitors.
Joanna Roberts, product director at JG Travel Group, said: “This new break will allow customers the opportunity to enjoy the magical atmosphere in London on Saturday May 6.
“They will overnight outside the capital and on the morning of Coronation Day we will coach them into central London so they can be part of the celebrations – all without the need to worry about trains or parking as everything will be organised.
“We have a wide range of pick-up points available across the two brands, so I urge agents to use their channels to ensure they are promoting this to customers in their local catchments.”
The three-day King’s Coronation Weekend break costs from £199.
It departs on May 5 and the price includes return coach travel from selected pick-up points, two nights’ B&B accommodation, based on two sharing, and coach transfers into London for the coronation day.
An en-route visit to a place of interest is included on the first day.
