Jo Rzymowska to lead Abta panel debate on nurturing talent

Leading industry figure Jo Rzymowska will moderate a panel session at Abta’s Travel Convention (October 30-November 1) about nurturing talent and building for the future.

Known as a champion of diversity, equity and inclusion, she is now a consultant, having had a 40-year career in international travel.

She has held senior commercial, sales and marketing roles at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Universal Studios, Thomas Cook, Royal Caribbean Cruises, and, most recently, at Celebrity Cruises where she was EMEA vice-president and managing director.

The conference organisers said: “Known as a straight-talking dynamic leader, Jo drives collaboration and inspires change.

“She has hosted and delivered several keynote speeches at global conferences across the leisure, travel, and hospitality sectors.

“Throughout her award-winning career she has been instrumental in delivering game-changing brand partnerships with leading names, including Annie Liebowitz, Kelly Hoppen and Ben Fogle using her experience from working with influential industry leaders over the past four decades.

“Jo is renowned for her passionate commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, particularly advocating for women and the LGBTQ+ community.”

The conference has also released details of the Cycle for Lifeline fundraising event, which will see delegates explore the Bodrum peninsula during a half-day 21-mile ride.

The £65 ticket price includes a lunch of traditional local food and all proceeds will go to Abta LifeLine.
