Just Go Holidays reports ‘best January ever’ through trade

Just Go Holidays has reported its “best ever” January though the trade, with bookings up by more than 40% year on year.

The coach holiday specialist said a significant driver of this growth was the increase in demand for its European and worldwide programme.

New destinations, new tours in existing destinations and the addition of its first long-haul holiday have all played a role in boosting sales.

Italy remains the best-selling European country, with bookings through agents in January up 15%, compared to the same time last year.

Lake Garda has seen the strongest growth, and a fourth tour that visits the popular resort has been added to the programme for 2025 to meet demand.

Other destinations seeing good growth are Germany and Sri Lanka.

Three tours in Germany have all seen a significant increase in bookings including: The Beautiful Black Forest; Germany’s Romantic Road and Treasures of Berlin, which is by air.

Sri Lanka was introduced as an all-inclusive long-stay winter-sun option, and due to its success, the programme has been extended to cover the whole year with ‘stay longer from less’ options between June and September added.

Claire Dutton, trade sales manager at Just Go Holidays, said: “It is so encouraging to see that agents have really embraced our products in the last 12 months.

“Alongside actively selling our UK breaks, our trade booking growth shows that agents are also now recognising us as a key provider of European tours.

“Our overseas programme has gone from strength to strength, and we now offer more choice than ever before, both in terms of destinations and tour options.

“Our products offer great value for money as have so many inclusions from excursion and meals to other little extras, such as free bars or two-for-one drinks, and even all-inclusive tours.”
