Solo tour operator Just You is to take customers to Jordan, having completed its first overseas holidays in more than 18 months.
The G Touring brand will be taking customers on its eight-day Jordan – A Land of Ancient Treasures & Empires trip on November 8.
“It has been a very exciting couple of weeks as everyone at Just You HQ,” said product and operations director Liesa Bissett. “People have really missed exploring and Jordan is a fantastic way of saying that the time for an adventure is now.
“It is one of our most popular tours, taking in Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea.”
A second departure on the solos specialist five-day Icelandic Splendours tour is due to depart on November 6. The itinerary was the first overseas holiday Just You operated since Covid struck (pictured) when a group departed on October 9.
Tour manager Jennie Whalley said: “It was so exciting to be back on a Just You solos tour again. I thought that it was the travel that I would have missed the most, but actually it was watching the group come together and make new friends, it was all very emotional.
“The connection is what people have really missed, the coming together as a group and sharing those amazing experiences when we are out exploring and then talking about it later when we were back in the hotel. It was such a special experience, and to watch people go home having made new friends, it is such a big part of what Just You is all about. It is one of the main reasons that I became a tour manager and why I love what I do.”
