Kuoni launches multimillion-pound marketing campaign

Kuoni has launched a multimillion-pound multi-media campaign which includes a new sponsorship deal with Times Radio.

The campaign will run throughout the peak January and February sales period on digital platforms, radio, out-of-home advertising, direct mail and national press.

It includes offers such as free room nights, savings, upgrades and added value experiences.

The operator’s ‘Travel On’ messaging features a new Travel On poem, positioning Kuoni as a trusted brand.

Radio stations such as Heart, Classic FM, Smooth and Times Radio will run advertisements with the new poem.

Kuoni has also become the main sponsor of the Times Radio afternoon show with Fi and Jane and its supporting Off Air podcast.

Broadcasters Jane Garvey and Fi Glover moved to the Times from the BBC in October 2022 to create the new daily show.

With a weekly Departure Lounge slot every Monday on the show, Kuoni will guest present travel features each week with Glover and Garvey.

Kuoni’s communications director, Rachel O’Reilly, joined the show on week one to talk about using holidays to kickstart healthier lifestyles.

O’Reilly said: “Fi and Jane have a brilliant formula their show with a loyal and growing audience who love their insight, humour and style.

“It’s the perfect place to inspire new travel adventures in a way that naturally feels part of the conversation.

“Every week we want to spark ideas around holidays, with special guests and some Kuoni regulars.

“It’s great to be part of something new and both the radio show and the supporting Off Air podcast have loyal and highly engaged listeners, working with the Times is a perfect fit as their readers voted us their favourite luxury travel company.”

Kuoni has also seen its Recommended Provider status extended by Which? for another year, appearing at joint number-one spot on the consumer watchdog’s latest holiday survey.
