Russell Fleming has moved to cruise specialist Light Blue Travel as reservations manager from HF Holidays.
He will manage the sales and reservations team as well as streamlining process and improving on efficiencies to maximise revenue.
Fleming will also be facilitating sales training programmes and working on developing the Cambridge-based company’s CRM/booking system.
He joins from HF Holidays where he was customer success manager, having previously worked for Freedom Destinations, Kenwood Travel and Travelbag.
Light Blue Travel acts as UK and Europe representative for American Queen Voyages, with its river, ocean and expedition vessels. The company is also GSA for German operator Nicko cruises.
UK and Europe commercial director Michelle Daniels said: “Russell is a great addition to our team and brings 20 years’ experience in managing reservation teams and implementing industry best practice to optimise performance and customer satisfaction.”
