Major Travel is planning to host 300 agents at a trade show in London as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations.
The trade-only operator began the celebrations on October 14 with the launch of social media campaign ‘Around the World in 50 Days’, offering content and deals for a different destination each day.
Agents have also been encouraged to look out for competitions, training and the chance to win holidays, free nights, vouchers and other prizes.

Hailing the company’s landmark year, managing director Qasim Gulamhusein said: “This milestone is as much about our incredible journey as it is about the people who’ve been with us along the way. We’re excited to celebrate with our agents and partners who’ve supported us for so many years.”
The trade show, whose location will be revealed in due course, will feature presentations from Major Travel and suppliers including Palace Resorts, Attitude Hotels, Oblu, Atmosphere, Thompsons Africa, Elite Islands, Not in the Guidebooks, Celebrity Cruises and Rixos Hotels.
Agents will also be able to attend breakout sessions led by tourist boards, with featured destinations including the Seychelles, Fiji, the British Virgin Islands, Aruba and Ajman.
The 50th anniversary celebrations will conclude with a virtual roadshow in December. Further details will be shared on Major Travel’s Facebook page.
