Mercury Holidays adds five escorted tours following ‘strong demand’

Mercury Holidays has added five new escorted tours to its range for 2023-24 thanks to “strong demand”.

Its new Escorted Tours brochure now features 115 itineraries.

The additions are India’s Tigers and Wildlife, from £2,199 for nine days; Java, Bali and the Komodo Dragons, from £3,079 for 16 days; the Grand Tour of Egypt, from £2,419 for 12 days; Madagascar: Discover a Lost World, from £3,299 for 14 days; and Pompeii, Capri and the Amalfi Coast, an eight-day tour from £1,099.

The operator is also running its Double Incentives scheme, which offers Love2shop vouchers to agents, and applies to all short-haul, long-haul, escorted tours and river cruise bookings made in January and February.

Michael Priest, head of product, said the new tours have been created with feedback from customers and offer the chance to see some of the world’s “most iconic” wildlife, cultural and natural sights.

“There are experiences that can only be enjoyed through travel,” he said.

“Our tours to see the Komodo dragons in Indonesia, the lemurs of Madagascar and the great tiger reserves of central India are fantastic opportunities to see these creatures in the natural environment.”
