Mercury Holidays launches escorted tours library for agents

Mercury Holidays has launched a social media content library to help travel agents market the operator’s range of escorted tours.

The firm already offers fresh content each day on its Mercury Agents Facebook page and now the new tool gives agents access to posts for all of its escorted tours.

It has also launched a weekly prize draw over the course of four weeks to promote the library, offering agents using the new tool the chance to win a case of wine.

The first agencies to win are Hays Travel in Shanklin and Dawson & Sanderson in Blyth.

In order to win, agents can send the operator a screenshot of their post, produced using the new social tool, along with their name and Abta number.

Tom Bugeja (pictured), Mercury Holidays’ chief executive, said: “Designed to make sharing as easy as possible, we’ve written the copy and designed the creative for over 120 tours.

“These are all available in our new asset library, built especially for our trade partners.”

Josh Harford, commercial manager, added: “We’re really exciting to bring this unique tool out for our trade partners, we know how important social media has become for the travel industry.

“We want to ensure that we can provide our agents with the best content at touch of a button.

“Our escorted tour programme is going from strength to strength since its inception in 2013, and now with 120+ itineraries available, it’s the perfect place for us to start with our new trade tool.”
