National Holidays has joined forces with live entertainment company AEG Presents to expand its live music offering for 2022.

The partnership gives the coach operator access to a selection of AEG Presents concerts nationwide, including shows by high-profile artists including Michael Bublé, Bryan Adams, Olly Murs and Lionel Richie.

Packages have gone on sale through the operator’s Showtime coach break programme.

Although the operator already offers concert breaks, this gives a broader range of options, said sales and yield director Matthew Herbert, who described the partnership as “a big step forward”.

He said: “It will open up access to many more sought-after concerts going forward. We are now able to offer agents in our key selling areas even more choice when it comes to booking packages to see leading artists and bands, and we plan to add even more as we move through the year.”

He added: “We already offer a range of concerts breaks which agents have been really great at selling. They understand that a coach break can be an easy way of securing hard-to-come-by tickets and partnering with AEG Presents means we will have even greater access to tickets than ever before.”

New two-day coach break packages include An evening with Michael Bublé & Beautiful Buxton, from £199, departing on July 9 and including return coach travel from selected pick up points in the northeast and Yorkshire and one night’s bed and breakfast accommodation and a ticket to the concert at The Incora Country Ground Derby, plus an excursion to Buxton.

Others are: an evening with Michael Bublé at Hatfield House,  from £199;  Olly Murs live in concert at Harewood & Historic Harrogate, from £169pp; Bryan Adams live in concert at Harewood & Historic Harrogate, from £169; and Lionel Richie live in concert at Blickling & Lovely Lincoln, from £209.
