New tech developed to aid agents with Jet2holidays web bookings

A tool has been developed for agents that aims to simplify the process of handling bookings made via the Jet2holidays trade website. 

The latest functionality introduced by travel technology provider Dolphin Dynamics was developed with the support of the tour operator and Millington Travel, Baldwins Travel and Dawson & Sanderson. 

The new module has been designed to enhance efficiency, data quality and accuracy for independent agents using Dolphin’s back-office platform by capturing package holiday details including flights, transfers and hotel information.

It enables users to capture bookings made on Jet2holidays’ dedicated trade website for independent travel agency partners, streamlining the process and minimising the risk of manual entry errors. 

Data is loaded within seconds using a booking capture module, automatically integrating the necessary vendor details into the Dolphin platform, according to the company. 

The tool is also capable of re-capturing bookings that have been cancelled or modified, including changes to dates or room types, ensuring that the Dolphin platform always reflects the most up-to-date information.

Millington Travel sales and marketing director Guy Fletcher said: “I’m pleased with how quickly this new functionality was implemented and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our sales staff, who say it’s brilliant. They are already asking to extend this feature to other major tour operators.”
