Escorted tour specialist Newmarket Holidays has launched its first dedicated tours to Ecuador in the wake of an “extraordinary” response to the launch of long-haul holidays in 2025.
The tours are available for departures between September 2024 and November 2025.
The 12-day tour called Ecuador – From the Andes to the Amazon starts in the capital Quito, and visits the Amazon rainforest, hot springs of Papallacta, the Cotacachi Cayapas Ecological Reserve and Cuicocha Crater Lake.
It costs from £3,272, including a 10% discount available until August 23, and includes return flights and transfers, nine nights’ accommodation and daily tours.
A longer version of the tour adds on a Galapagos cruise extension, with guests flying to the islands.

They will board the all-inclusive Galápagos Legend which has been designed to access the more remote islands, North Seymour, Bartolome Island, Santiago Island and San Cristobal, where the four-day journey ends at the Cerro Colorado Tortoise Reserve. This 16-day option costs from £6,288.
Richard Forde, head of trade sales at Newmarket Holidays, said: “This tour goes beyond the typical Ecuadorian experience.
“It offers a richly woven tapestry of local culture, stunning landscapes, and unique wildlife encounters, from the foothills of the Andes to the heart of the Amazon.
“It truly is a once-in-a-lifetime journey, in a group setting that gives guests the comfort and security of travelling with like-minded people.”
He added: “We’ve seen an extraordinary response to our long-haul tours for 2025, with sales figures reaching unprecedented levels.
“This underlines a pent-up demand for travel and exploration after recent global events.
“Given this enthusiastic reception, we are confident that Ecuador – From the Andes to the Amazon will be another triumph for our travel partners.
“We look forward to seeing travel agents enjoy strong bookings with this new addition.”
