Escorted touring operator Newmarket Holidays has released its 2022-23 Holidays & Tours Collection brochure to the trade, to capitalise on rising consumer demand.
The release follows a fall in cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 and the government’s relaxation of travel testing requirements.
Richard Forde, head of trade sales, said: “We took the decision to release our brochure a little later than usual due to the rising Omicron cases in December which were forecast to peak in early-mid January.
“We aimed for our brochures to land with our partners just as customers began feeling confident about travelling in 2022.
“We also hoped to coincide with a relaxation in testing requirements which we believed would add to consumer confidence.
“We still feel that this was the right choice to make, as we’ve had a solid week of bookings.
“With the brochure now arriving with agents around the country, we expect a strong few weeks ahead with our partners.”
Forde added: “The brochure has got a fresher look and feel, not only on the cover, but throughout.
“Feedback so far has been wonderful so we hope our trade partners will feel the same.
“We believe they will have a much better presence on the shelf and further strengthen our relationship with our trade partners and their customers.”
Newmarket Holidays is currently offering agents a saving of up to 10% across its portfolio with its current campaign: Reconnect. Reimagine. Rediscover.
