Oceania Cruises ‘sets new standards’ with suites and staterooms

Oceania Cruises has revealed details of suites and staterooms on board its newest ship Vista, including its first cabins dedicated to solo travellers.

All suites and staterooms on the ship, due to debut in 2023, will feature verandas. In a first for the brand, the new category of ‘concierge level veranda stateroom’ will be for single travellers.

The cruise line says it is setting new standards in comfort and luxury with the designs of its veranda staterooms, penthouse suits, Oceania suites and vista suites on its seventh ship.

Itineraries will be available to view on September 9 and go on sale on September 15, 2021, with the first sailing in early 2023.

President and chief executive Bob Binder said: “As with every one of our ships, our goal is for guests to feel instantly at home from the moment they enter their stateroom or suite aboard Vista.

“Vista’s accommodations will offer all the thoughtful amenities and personal touches that we are renowned for and are designed with the style and elegance our guests have come to love and expect from Oceania Cruises.”

As well as all featuring verandas, the suites and staterooms are spacious with oversized ‘rainforest’ showers, large dining and living areas, and aim to create “restful homelike spaces” with luxury furnishings and artwork.

The veranda stateroom measures 291 square feet, with a queen size bed, seating area, private veranda, storage area and large bathroom.

The concierge level veranda staterooms include a private veranda, seating area, marble bath with walk-in shower, and additional features such as a dedicated ‘concierge’ lounge, room service from The Grand Dining Room and free laundry services. The new concierge level solo veranda staterooms also include a free laundry service and access to the exclusive Concierge Lounge.

The penthouse suite measures 440 square feet and has a dedicated butler and access to the suites-only executive lounge with a dedicated concierge, while the 14 Oceania suites average 1,000-1,200 square feet and also include a study or guest studio with bathroom, a dedicated butler and access to the suites-only executive lounge.

The vista suite, which are 1,450 to 1,850 square feet, are designed to be the ‘ultimate seaside villas’ with 180-degree views. They include a dining room and bar area and open on to a large teak veranda, 24 hour butler service and access to the suites-only Executive Lounge.

Details of Vista’s owner’s suites have yet to be revealed.

The brand has an additional 1,200-guest Allura Class ship on order for delivery in 2025.
