Omega Breaks is to operate new coach trips to see The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in London’s West End this summer.
The two-day breaks, from £129 and aimed at the family market, will run on selected dates between August 6 and December 22.
The new production, based on CS Lewis’ famous book and starring EastEnders’ actress Samantha Womack as Jadis the cruel white witch, is playing for a limited period from July this year to January 2023 at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre. It promises new staging and puppetry techniques.
The show follows the story of characters Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter on their journey through the wardrobe to the faraway kingdom of Narnia, where they meet creatures including Mr Tumnus, the talking faun, and Aslan the Lion.
Prices of the two-day breaks include return coach travel from various pick-up points around England and Wales, one night’s bed-and-breakfast accommodation, plus a ticket to the show and free time in London for shopping and sightseeing. Prices are based on two sharing.
Omega Breaks’ parent JG Travel Group recently announced a hike in capacity for its festive programme in 2022 across its three brands, which also include Go Holidays and National Holidays.
