Omega offers ‘Superbloom’ London breaks to mark Queen’s Platinum Jubliee

Omega Breaks has put on a special ‘Superbloom’ coach break to London to see the transformation of the Tower of London’s moat this summer.

The moat is being filled with wild flowers, sculptures and a weaving path while a sound installation is also being specialliy installed to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Designed to attract bees and butterflies, the Superbloom is the first stage of a permanent transformation of the moat, once used to defend the Tower, into a biodiverse landscape in the heart of London.

The operator, part of The JG Travel Group, is offering several departures this summer to capitalise on demand for trips to the capital to attend Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Trade sales manager Claire Dutton said the break was likely to prove popular based on the “huge interest” already shown by customers.

Urging agents to promote the break now, she said: “We know how unique events like this can create demand, as people want to see it for themselves. We have several departures on sale including two in June, so customers can be amongst the first to see it when it erupts into colour this summer.”

The Superbloom at the Tower of London starts at £139 including return coach travel from pick-up points in England and Wales, one night’s bed and breakfast accommodation, admission to Superbloom and the Tower of London and free time in the capital for shopping and sightseeing.

Departures are between June 4 and September 19, 2022, and based on two sharing. An option for a half board stay is available from £149pp.
