The Personal Travel Consultants in Partnership with Blue Bay Travel (PTCs), has appointed Vikki Griffin as assistant manager as part of its plans for growth.
She has been promoted from her role with the central operations function of Blue Bay Travel’s business.
Griffin joined Blue Bay Travel four years ago as a Personal Travel Advisor, before moving into operations.
Abbie Heaton, sales manager for PTC, said: “I’m delighted we’ve selected a candidate that truly understands what it’s like to be front line as a sales agent within our business.
“Vikki has already built a rapport with her future team having worked with them day to day in her previous role.”
Griffin started her career at the Co-operative Banking Group, working as a manager and senior branch advisor over a seven-year period.
At Blue Bay Travel, she has been responsible for business management, sales management and event management.
In her new role, she will lead projects that aim to support growth.
She added: “I’ll also be responsible for continued recruitment, training and development of our homeworkers.
“We’re looking forward welcoming more new faces in the future and I’ll be there to onboard the agents, support Abbie and help build on the success of this dynamic homeworking business.”
