Princess Cruises will introduce its first ever Summer Colonial Heritage voyages as part of its expanded 2024 Canada & New England programme.
The new 10 or 11-night itineraries will sail round-trip from New York on board Island Princess and feature calls at Yorktown, Charleston, South Carolina, Boston and Halifax.
Princess Cruises has added several other new itineraries for next year, including the 17-night Classic Canada & New England sailing from Boston to Quebec, calling at Portland, Saint John, Halifax, Charlottetown and Saguenay.

Also new is the line’s 14-night Canada & Colonial America voyage from Quebec to Fort Lauderdalem calling at Halifax, Portland, New York City, Yorktown and Charleston. Prices start from £1,469.
John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises, said: “The upcoming 2024 Canada & New England cruise and cruisetour programme is highlighted by the debut of new summer Colonial Heritage voyages with visits to Yorktown and cruises sailing in and out of Boston.
“We know history buffs and seafood enthusiasts are going to love this collection of enticing voyages that tell the story of our American and Canadian history.”
Princess Cruises has also released its 2024-25 Panama Canal season featuring 26 departures sailing to 23 destinations in 12 countries, with visits to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
New for the collection is the 12-night Panama Canal with Costa Rica and the Caribbean itinerary featuring stops in the Southern Caribbean and a late night stay in Aruba. The lead-in price is £1,239.
Padgett said: “Three ships will transit the historic Panama Canal during our upcoming 2024-25 season offering full transit sailings, ocean-to-ocean or roundtrip options from Fort Lauderdale.
“We’re excited to bring Coral Princess back to the region, returning the ship to her roots where she was christened in the Panama Canal in 2003.”
