Scenic Group restructures sales team

The Scenic Group has restructured its sales team ahead of the launch of two ships.

Jonathan Davies has been promoted from his role as sales manager for the north to take on the position of national key accounts manager for the region while Wendi Hardy has moved to oversee national key accounts for the south.

Current sales manager for Scotland, Northern Ireland and North East England William Young has taken on additional responsibility for increasing agent awareness of the group’s touring product, as well as strengthening ties with the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association.

Lewis Quigley will join the team from his previous position as marketing executive and will take up the new position of sales manager for the north and central from April 1.

Andrea Stafford, director of trade sales, said: “The launches of Scenic Eclipse II and Emerald Sakara will soon be upon us so it makes sense to ensure our sales team is the strongest in the business.

“Over the last 12 months we have dramatically increased our trade presence and the huge interest in the new vessels will only focus more attention on what we offer.

“What has become clear is that we needed dedicated sales people to handle the big national accounts. These partners have huge potential for us, and I’m sure Wendi and Jonathan can deliver great results.

“Our sales managers will continue to work smartly with retail, homeworking and driving the niche medium size operators.

“We are intent on boosting our brilliant touring proposition and developing new partnerships with luxe agents across the country.”

She added: “I’m delighted to welcome Lewis to the sales team. He comes with fresh ideas, great brand knowledge and I’m sure agents will notice the huge enthusiasm he brings. We can’t wait to see what he can deliver.”
