Scenic has unveiled its 2024 all-inclusive European river cruise collection featuring more than 250 sailings.
The programme includes two new Danube River cruises with optional add-on post-cruise city stays.
New extended river cruises combine two of the line’s popular itineraries, plus several river cruises in the Normandy region will coincide with the 80th anniversary of the Second World War D-Day landings.

The new 10-day Danube in Depth itinerary will cruise between Nuremberg and Budapest, sailing through Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary.
Prices start from £3,750 based on an October 11 departure on board the Scenic Jasper.
The new eight-day Iconic Danube River cruise sails from Passau to Budapest and is being offered as an alternative to the line’s eight-day Gems of the Danube itinerary.
Passengers can combine the cruise with a three-night extension in Prague. Prices start at £3,140 based on an April 16 departure on board the Scenic Jasper.
Also new for 2024 is the 80th Anniversary of D-Day Landings in Northern France itinerary. Passengers will be given guided tours in Normandy to learn more about the history of the region.
The lead-in price for the cruise is £4,100 based on a June 8 departure on board the Scenic Gem.
To celebrate the launch of the collection, the line is offering savings of up to £750 per person plus private door-to-door transfers.
Andrea Stafford, director of trade sales for Scenic and Emerald Cruises, said European river cruise sales have “taken off” since the line’s wave period started, meaning 2024 is “already shaping up to be a great year for Scenic river cruising”.
“Scenic’s latest 2024 Europe river cruise brochure celebrates this seminal year with commemorative D-Day landing itineraries, as well as city stay and cruise extensions,” she said.
“We look forward to introducing these itineraries to agents and marking another successful year of strong trade relations.”
