The Travel Franchise enlists trio of celebrities to lure new agents

The Travel Franchise is holding an event featuring celebrity supporters next month as it bids to recruit new entrepreneurs.

Double Olympic gold medallist Daley Thompson will join broadcasters Eamonn Holmes and Hayley Sparkes for the ‘Discovery’ evening at Sheraton Skyline Hotel London Heathrow on Tuesday, September 3.

The Travel Franchise co-founder Paul Harrison will explain the business model and outline how homeworking agents can earn “a very attractive salary”.

Holmes, former co-presenter of This Morning and currently employed by GB News, said: “I can’t wait to meet new budding travel entrepreneurs and see their faces when Paul reveals how they can get paid for planning holidays from home. I always say that if you do something you love, you will never work a day in your life.”

The Travel Franchise said it has 650 homeworking agents, with 98% of them being new to the sector upon joining the business.

Discovery events are held around the UK and typically last around two hours as Harrison outlines the different franchise options – which start at £2,995 – and reveals future plans for the company, including some that are not widely shared.

Harrison said: “This particular Discovery event comes at the perfect time when our consultants are reporting record holiday bookings and travel is booming.

“What’s more, anyone who decides to invest in one of our franchises could reserve one of the last few training places at the end of the month.

“This means they’ll have November and December to get up to speed planning and booking holidays and be ready for the travel industry’s ‘peak’ booking season – the January to March period when agents typically sell four times as many holidays than any other time of the year.”

Tickets for the event are priced at £10, with the cost refundable upon attendance.

The Travel Franchise’s customer-facing brand is Not Just Travel.
