Tipto reveals details of roadshows and training days

Tipto has announced details of the first of its travel agent roadshows for its 25th anniversary year.

The first 10 dates and locations nationwide for the trade marketing organisation’s roadshows, SuperShows and training days are now all available for agents to book.

The organisation currently boasts a range of 25 different suppliers including tour operators, cruise lines and attraction and add-ons specialists in the same year as its 25th anniversary.

The first event will be a Tipto roadshow at York Racecourse on October 4 followed by roadshows in Preston on October 18; Surrey on October 31; Swindon on November 1; Portsmouth on November 21; and Bournemouth on November 22.

A SuperShow will be held at Liverpool’s Aintree Racecourse on November 14 while Tipto Training Days will be on November 28 in Leeds; November 29 in Nottingham; and December 6 in Newport, Wales.

Roadshows and SuperShows offer agents the chance to learn about new products and incentives being offered by Tipto supplier members, gain market intelligence and industry insight as well as sales tips.

The networking evenings include drinks, a two-course dinner and the chance to win prizes.

At each roadshow, agents can meet up to 12 suppliers through an organised speed dating event, while SuperShows are attended by all 25 Tipto suppliers at an exhibition style event with stage show style entertainment including ‘The Big Tipto Quiz’. Both events run from 6pm until 10pm and are free to attend for frontline travel agents, managers and homeworkers.

Tipto Training Days are held during the working day, from 9.30am until 2.30pm, and provide more indepth, classroom-style learning from up to nine suppliers. They include a buffet breakfast and lunch.

Tipto is also running a solus roadshow just for Althams Travel agents on October 17 in Burnley.

Agents who are interested in attending the events can book a place via Tipto’s website tipto.co.uk.
