Titan Travel waves off first private jet tour

Titan Travel has waved off its inaugural private jet adventure on a grand tour from Rome to Rajasthan as it announced details of further trips.

The operator’s 23-day Capitvating Cultures grand tour left Stansted Airport’s private terminal on Wednesday morning.

The 737-400 single aisle aircraft had five cabin crew on board, three pilots, three tour managers and an aviation specialist operations director.

John Constable, chief executive of Titan’s parent company Saga Travel Group, and Lisa Warner, marketing director, were on hand to see the group off on the company’s first private jet holiday, which was 70% sold within two months of going on sale.

Constable said: “We’re delighted that our inaugural private jet tour has taken to the skies, and we wish all our guests an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

“They were in high-spirits as they boarded, looking forward to the next 23-days and nine cultural destinations from Petra to the Taj Mahal and Samarkand. We can’t wait to hear all their stories when they return!”

The tour’s first stop after leaving London was Rome, and finishes in Istanbul on October 5. Along the way the tour will stop in Montenegro, Jordan, India and Uzbekistan.

Experiences included are a visit to the Vatican before it opens, cruising in the Bay of Kotor, visiting Petra and sitting under the stars in Wadi Rum desert. In India, there is a tour of the Palace of the Winds, game drives in search of tigers and dawn views of the Taj Mahal.

The group will also dine overlooking the Uzbekistan city of Samarkand and explore Istanbul before a farewell dinner to remember. Flight times range between 1 hour and 16 minutes, and 5 hours and 53 minutes.

The group has also released details of further private jet tours.

A round-the-world tour will take place in November next year while a Spice Tour is planned for 2025. The company has already announced that the inaugural Captivating Cultures trip will be repeated in September next year, with prices starting from £29,995.

Constable said: “The Captivating Cultures private jet tour has proved incredibly popular and was 70% sold within two months of opening for sale, so we are hosting another one next year, along with a round-the-world option. There’s also a 2025 Spice Route launching on sale in the coming weeks, which we’ve already had significant pre-registrations for.”

The 21-day round the world tour will take in Rio de Janeiro, Easter Island, Fiji, Sydney, Siem Reap, Agra, Delhi, and the Maasai Mara.
