Top Villas recruits Edward Frampton-Fell for tour operating role

Edward Frampton-Fell has been appointed as general manager of tour operations at Top Villas to help raise its UK profile and expand its portfolio, with new destinations primarily in Europe, the US and the Caribbean.

As part of its expansion, Top Villas aims to deepen relationships with trade and B2C partners.

The company said it has a “generous commission structure” for travel agents who wish to partner with the brand, which has more than 17,000 properties across 150 destinations.

Edward Frampton-Fell moves from his role as managing director at SPL Villas, where he has worked since 2020.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the luxury holiday accommodation sector and has also worked with Edge Retreats, Oliver’s Travels, James Villa Holidays, Albatross Travel and Saga Holidays.

Frampton-Fell said: “I am thrilled to join Top Villas at such an exciting time in the company’s journey. With its vast portfolio and ambitious plans for growth, there’s incredible potential to make a significant impact in the villa rental market.

“I look forward to working closely with the team and our partners to deliver outstanding experiences to travellers worldwide.”

The roots of Top Villas go back to 2006 when brothers James and Tom Mannings started a vacation rental company.

By 2010 the business had become known as Top Villas. The company has its head office in a former country manor house near Canterbury, and another office in Orlando, Florida.
